Adult and Continuing Education

Adult Education is a special program designed to meet the basic educational needs of adults. Classes offered under this program are basic skills, G.E.D. preparation, Spanish GED, English as a Second Language, basic skills for employment, and family literacy. These courses are offered in several locations throughout the community at various times for the convenience of adult learners interested in attending classes. Adults receive academic counseling and career guidance.

The Continuing Education (CE) team works to bring Kishwaukee College to your doorstep by providing courses at over 40 community sites. For the past 35 years, the CE department has helped the College underscore its commitment to community service and lifelong learning. Continuing Education provides the opportunity for community members, agencies, and institutions to become active partners in education.
