Adult Student Connections offers support for income eligible adult students pursuing career and vocational certificates and degrees. Students may receive assistance in the form of textbook reimbursements, mileage reimbursements, and childcare.
About Adult Student Connections
This program offers personal and practical support to both men and women who are single parents, displaced homemakers or are pursuing nontraditional training in a career/occupational program. Nontraditional occupations are those with less than 25% made up of one gender. Assistance is provided with career planning and class scheduling. Financial assistance may include tuition and fees, textbook loan, child care, and mileage reimbursement. Counseling and referral to social service agencies for additional support services and assistance are available, as needed. There is an income eligibility guideline for participation in Adult Student Connections.
