Family Literacy Program
- Do you need childcare so you can learn English or complete your GED?
- Are your children between the ages of 0 - 10?
- Do you want to do fun learning activities with your children?
The Family Literacy Program offers childcare to parents who are enrolled in ESL, ABE, or GED classes. Through the program, parents and children are given the opportunity to participate in reading events, learning activities and field trips.
About the Family Literacy Program
This program offers on-site childcare with educational activities for children whose parents are attending Adult Basic Education, GED preparation classes or ESL classes. The program emphasizes reading readiness and language development skills. Parents are able to attend field trips, participate in parent-child learning activities, and parent training workshops.
