NCAA Contact Period Marks Busy Time for Kougars
Kishwaukee women’s basketball has hosted four NCAA DI institutions during the first three days of the NCAA Contact Period. The Kougars have been honored with multiple visits this past week and several more scheduled for the next two weeks of contact and evaluations. The University of Youngstown, Oklahoma State Panhandle, The University of Memphis, and the University of Illinois at Chicago are just a few to have stopped by already. The programs are developing relationships with both freshmen and sophomores and making early signing period offers to multiple Kougars for the 2012-13 season. “We as coaches are thrilled and honored with the attention our program and team has been receiving and the excitement being generated in our gym and on campus. We have a lot to look forward to this season and the team’s hard work is already paying off” shares Coach Kat of the recruiting demands already this fall. The staff will announce continued interest as official dates, visits, and offers are scheduled.
