There, Raven led the Commandos to a 3A State Championship in 2008 and 3rd place state finish in 2009. Playing 2 years at Kishwaukee College, Raven set the KC single game assist record at 15, also setting this as the NJCAA national game assist record. She left the program as an All-Conference and All-Region IV selection. She finished her KC career as the school’s all-time assist leader (320) and 10th in scoring at 732 points. She helped lead the Kougars to the 2011 Arrowhead Conference Championship. Raven moved on to NCAA DI Appalachian State University where she started at point guard for the Mountaineers. She finished her collegiate career with a two year record of 46-18 and graduating with a Communications degree. “We are very proud of Raven and what she has accomplished. She came to us with goals of playing and contributing at a Division I institution. She is a great example of what trusting and believing in our program can offer for the present and the future. Raven was able to use KC as a place to hone her skills, grow in strength and get a great education.
