Goal: To successfully treat athletes in order to keep them as safely productive in the game as possible in order to help them continue on in their athletic careers. I would like all of my athletes to become knowledgeable on their bodies and injuries and have a good foundation on taking care of themselves.
Why I became an Athletic Trainer: Sports have always been a passion of mine and the body is such a wonderful machine. I always wanted to work in the medical field and athletic training is the perfect combination of athletics and medical care with the additional excitement of game time performance and pressure.
My philosophy on treating athletes: Each athlete is different and therefore needs individualized care and treatment. If something is not working for one athlete, I will work with him or her to determine the best treatments and exercises to help treat and progress the athlete so that he or she can be successful.
