      The 2011-12 Volleyball won 3rd place at the NJCAA National DII Tournament at Owens Community College. The team lost in the semi-finals to Oakland, 23-25; 19-25; 20-25. The team quickly regrouped to defeat Phoenix College on Saturday 17-25; 25-21; 25-14; 27-25, earning the 3rd Place finish. Congratulations on an outstanding season!

      Congratulations to the 2011-12 Volleyball team

      The 2011-12 Volleyball team won the Region IV Championship on Saturday, November 5! The team played Black Hawk College in the semi-finals and defeated them 25-21; 25-17; 25-18. In the finals the team faced Carl Sandburg, winning in 3 sets, 25-20; 25-20; 25-15. This marks the program’s 12th consecutive Region IV Championship. Chelsea Neave and Kayla Waddell were named the to All-Region IV Tournament Team. Ariel Listenbarger was named the tournament MVP. The win moves the team along to the NJCAA National Tournament held at Owens Community College in Toledo, Ohio, November 17-19. Seedings are yet to be set. Updates of scores may be found at www.njcaa.org, under Women’s Volleyball Division II. Also, all matches of the tournament will be video streamed on NJCAA TV as well as www.psblive.com

      Post-season honors are beginning to be earned as well. Toni Cole and Mackenzie Johnson were both unanimous Region IV selections! Toni Cole and Ariel Listenbarger were named to the Arrowhead All-Conference Team and freshman Mackenzie Johnson was named the 2011 Arrowhead Conference MVP! Your hard work has paid off. We respect and appreciate how you have represented Kishwaukee College.

      All-Americans

      Congratulations to Megan Schroeder and Monica Sanchez for being named NJCAA DII All-American Volleyball players for the 2009-10 season! Monica is the 5’8” setter for the 42-9 Kougars. The graduate of Schaumburg H.S. was also named the the Arrowhead All-Conference First team and Region IV First Team. She is #5 in the nation for Assists/Set at 10.4 and #6 in the nation with Aces/Set, finishing with 129 aces on the year. Freshman Megan Schroeder, native of Racine, Wisconsin, was also named Arrowhead Conference MVP and First Team All-Region. The 6’1” RS finished #7 in the nation for Kills/Set at 3.82 , 599 Kills on the year and #9 in Hitting Efficiency at 47%. We are very proud of you!
