Volleyball Head Coach
Name: Steve Bailey
Educational Background: (College, Degree Earned)
I have my Associates degree in Business management and I am currently enrolled at The University of Phoenix working to complete my BA in business management.
Coaching History: (Years Coached-College, H.S., or Club-Record)
I am currently in my ninth year coaching. This will be my third season at Kishwaukee but first as the head coach. The last two seasons I have been the assistant coach club. Aside from coaching college I am the co director of Avalanche Volleyball Club in Aurora. I have been around and coached in the club game for six years now. Eventually I aspire to become a Division 1 volleyball coach.
Coaching Honors, Awards: (Team records set, Conf., Reg’l, National Honors)
Over my club-coaching career I have put together a winning record of 340 wins and 126 losses over the pass six seasons. My highest coaching achievement is winning a National Championship in 2008.
Coaching Philosophy: (Offense, Defense Preferred-Team Principles Followed- Goals for Program)
I feel that practice makes perfect. The things you want to accomplish in a match have to first be accomplished in practice. In order for this to work you have to be physically and mentally ready for all obstacles that may get in the way.
Favorite Quote:

Season Preview: (Outlook-Conf., Reg’l, Nat’l Predictions, Team Leaders)
Hopefully will have another successful season. Continue the winning tradition with going for a tenth conference and state title. If I have my way as a coach I would love to be in the National Championship match again, playing to win it all.
