I enjoy helping students adjust to college life, explore various career options, and deal with the many decisions that need to be made during their time at Kish. I work with students to recognize their strengths and develop a path for academic and personal success. College is a time to face challenges and change. Whether someone is pursuing a degree, exploring their options or taking a class to upgrade skills, I am here to offer students positive support and encouragement to help them reach their goals.

Many students are Undecided or become undecided after they thought a direction was clear. I am interested in helping students make career decisions, and major choices. This often overlaps with other areas of life—and can involve serious soul searching. I also work with students who have special needs—needs that range from learning disabilities to hearing impairments. Some areas of counseling interest include: examining dreams, using the writing process (journaling), using imagery (for instance to reduce test anxiety), holistic health, depression, and issues emerging from being gay, lesbian or bisexual. |

I also teach career development and study skills to help students grow through their transition times in life and move on to reach their goals. Part of my role as the Coordinator of Student Activities involves advising Student Association, the student government group here on campus. The SA provides programs and services for students, and charters campus clubs and organizations. Contact me if you're interested.it's a great way to build leadership skills and get involved!
