      2014 New Student Orientation Sessions

      Are you a new student at Kishwaukee College? We have designed our summer orientation sessions to meet your needs! To schedule your session, please call: 815-825-2086, ext. 5070.

      New Student Orientation:

      • Take your COMPASS placement exam
      • Meet with a counselor and register for classes
      • Learn more about how to be a successful student
      • Discover the basics of time management
      • Learn more about financial aid
      • Log onto your KishSOS/myKC online account
      • Get a tour of campus and learn about College support services
      • Tentative Dates: Please call 815-825-2086, ext. 5070 to register. Space is limited!
        • June: 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30
        • July: 7, 8, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22

      Fast-Track Orientation*:

      • This orientation is for students who have already taken their placement exams and completed the registration process
      • Learn more about how to be a successful student
      • Discover the basics of time management
      • Learn more about financial aid
      • Log onto your KishSOS/myKC online account
      • Get a tour of campus and learn about College support services
      • Tentative Dates:Please call 815-825-2086, ext. 5070 to register. Space is limited!
        • June: 4, 11 (afternoon), 18
        • July: 2, 23, 30
        *Fast-track orientation sessions are intended to provide you with more information about the College so that you can be a successful student. These orientations are NOT registration events.

      Monday, April 28 (Rochelle High School)

      Tuesday, April 29 (Genoa-Kingston High School)

      Wednesday, April 30 (Sycamore High School)

      See your high school counselor for information about attending these unique sessions. SPACE IS LIMITED!
