Errors and Resolutions

I received an error message.  What does it mean?

Course Prefix-Number-Section prerequisites have not been started.
Example:  ENG-104-3005 – Course ENG 104 prerequisites have not been started.
Student does not have the prerequisite to take this class.  If the student took the class at another institution, they must send an official transcript to Admissions, Registration and Records.  This transcript must be received before the student will be allowed to register.

Important Note:  If you are trying to register for a SU08 or FA08 course and are currently enrolled (SP08) in the prerequisite – you must come in to Admissions, Registration, and Records to register for the course.  We are currently working in two systems and will not have SP08 data converted to the new system until after the SP08 grade run.

Example:  You are taking ENG 103 in SP08 and wish to take ENG 104 in SU08 or FA08 – you must come in to register so the pre-req can be verified.

Also, until the SP08 grades are converted into the new system (mid-June), you cannot register for the following classes on-line. You must come to the Admissions, Registration and Records office to register.
  • BIO 213 – Introductory Microbiology
  • BIO 257 – Human Anatomy and Physiology
  • NUR 100 – Basic Nurse Assistant Training
