Refund Information
Refund Policy
If you drop a class, your refund will depend on the percentage of time that has passed since the class began. A 100% refund will be granted for classes dropped within the first 6% of the course. Thereafter, a 50% refund will be granted until 12% of the course has expired. The exact drop dates for each of your courses can be found on your registration statement, which will be provided to you if you register in person. If you register online, these dates can be found by clicking My Class Schedule in KishSOS.
If you fail to drop a class before the refund period, you will be charged for that class, even if you never attended. A full refund will be granted for courses canceled by the College. Refunds are not granted if a student has been withdrawn due to misconduct or delinquent attendance. This refund policy does not apply to Continuing Education classes.
If Financial Aid was used to pay tuition and fees, the refund will be applied to the financial aid programs that paid the charges. The Higher Education Amendments of 1998 have mandated additional requirements concerning refunds of tuition and fees to Title IV Financial Aid programs for students who drop or withdraw from courses for which Title IV funds were used.
