How to Transfer Financial Aid

  1. Add Kishwaukee College to your 2007-2008 FAFSA on the Internet at www.fafsa.ed.gov or call 1-800-433-3243. You will need your federal PIN to access your FAFSA information. The federal school code for Kishwaukee College is 007684.
  2. Complete the Kishwaukee College Financial Aid Application, Statement on Academic Progress Requirements, Worksheet A,B and C, and any other forms or information requested by the Kishwaukee College Financial Aid Office. These forms are available at the Kishwaukee College website in the Financial Aid area of www.kishwaukeecollege.edu

To Transfer a Stafford Loan

  1. Notify your former school that you are transferring.
  2. Inform your lender that you are transferring and need to cancel the spring disbursal.
  3. Add Kishwaukee College to your FAFSA information. See steps 1 and 2 in above section.
  4. Complete Stafford Loan Application packet available at Kishwaukee College Financial Aid Office. You will need to complete a Kishwaukee College loan information form.
  5. Submit all OFFICIAL academic transcripts from ALL of your previous schools to the Admissions Office at Kishwaukee College. Be sure the required Request for Evaluation Form has been completed.
  6. Spring 2008 Loan application deadline is March 17, 2008.
