ESL classes are offered to help those whose native language is not English.
Free Beginning and Intermediate classes cover language training in listening comprehension, oral communication, reading, writing, and critical thinking.
Classes in Advanced ESL, Academic Advanced ESL, and Pronunciation are offered to help students improve language skills for employment and academic needs. Tuition is charged for these classes. Some employers will reimburse employees for these classes.
*Childcare is available for 0-7 years with sufficient enrollment, except for the Saturday class at St. Mary’s and evening intermediate ESL at Kishwaukee College.
