Finances are always a concern for college students and families. This presentation will provide attendees with the basics of grants, loans, scholarships, completing the FAFSA, and more.
Engineering Program Presentations
Engineering, Math, and Science Academy Presentation
6:00 - 7:00 p.m. (Conference Center Dining Room, inside doors 16 & 17)
Kishwaukee College invites parents and their high school juniors enrolled in pre-calculus and interested in majoring in Engineering, Math or Science for an open house to learn more about the Engineering, Math and Science Academy. Students who complete EMSA can earn up to 26 hours of college credit toward their intended major before they leave high school.
Engineering Pathways Program
7:30 p.m. (Conference Center Dining Room, inside doors 16 & 17)
Interested in pursuing engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC)? The Engineering Pathways Program is a transfer agreement with UIUC. Kishwaukee College students who complete a prescribed study program in engineering and satisfy other program requirements at Kishwaukee can then transfer their first two years of coursework directly to UIUC and be guaranteed admission to the UIUC College of Engineering. Attend this program to learn more about program requirements and opportunities.
Career Programs Open House, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Health & Education (gymnasium)
Representatives from the Health & Education department will be on hand to discuss program options for students interested in an Associates in Applied Science Degree or certificate program.

Career Technologies (A-1300 lounge area, outside of gymnasium)
Representatives from Career Technologies departments will be on hand to discuss program options for students interested in an Associate of Applied Science Degree or certificate program.
