What is Kish CareerLink?
The mission of Kish CareerLink is to actively engage or link students, job seekers, educators, and employers in order to meet a job-seeker’s career goals and an employer’s workforce development needs.
Kish CareerLink (KCL) helps an employer build their future workforce by creating a platform in which area students and job-seekers can be actively engaged with your company. Over 4000 students and dozens of employers from DeKalb and Ogle Counties are participating.
Kish CareerLink (KCL) is an online tool which helps students and career-seekers achieve their future career goals by bridging the gap between school and the work world. KCL creates a platform in which area students and job-seekers can actively interact with area employers and career coaches. The Kish CareerLink team aspires to:
- Help students find relevance in what they are learning in the classroom
- Engage students early in thinking about their careers
- Positively impact our region’s graduation rates
