What is Kish CareerLink?

Kish CareerLink is an innovative, collaborative effort between Kishwaukee College, Greater Rochelle Economic Development Corporation (GREDCO) and the DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) to assist students from middle school through college with career exploration through Work-based Learning Activities with local business and industry.

Student Benefits

  • Explore potential careers and local employment opportunities
  • Learn about companies and organizations in DeKalb and Ogle Counties
  • Communicate with professionals in various career fields through Career Coach Message Boards
  • Participate in Work-based Learning Activities, such as:
    • Company Tours
    • Informational Interviews
    • Job Shadowing
    • Internships
