Students with Special Needs
Our goal at Kishwaukee College is to help all students integrate into the campus environment and succeed. Each year, increasing numbers of students with special needs are attending Kishwaukee College and succeeding. Special needs include disabilities such as visual, hearing, speech, orthopedic, emotional, mental, or other types of impairment. Students with specific learning disabilities are also eligible for special needs assistance as are students who are economically or academically disadvantaged. Additionally, students with limited English proficiency are considered students with special needs.
