Marketing & Public Relations exists to help make you, your program, and the College look good! By providing project management, strategic planning, and publicity support services, your Marketing & Public Relations staff will work with you to develop plans and materials that improve your image and the College’s image.

Project Management & Strategic Planning

Your Marketing & Public Relations staff works closely with you to oversee the completion of your marketing communications projects including brochures, advertising, signs, press releases and photographs. We partner with you in the planning and implementation of marketing strategies designed to meet your communication goals in the context of the overall College marketing plan.

Getting Started

These web pages are your online connection to your Marketing & Public Relations department. You can also find the online request forms on myKC. When you submit a form online, it will be sent to us instantly for review and scheduling.

The Process

After you complete one of the request forms online, Marketing & Public Relations will contact you, if necessary, to discuss your goals for the project. If you wish, the creative staff in Marketing & Public Relations can develop suggestions for moving your project forward. You and your Marketing & Public Relations department will execute a plan together. We want your project or press release to be successful. We will do our best to accommodate all requests, but would appreciate your courtesy in providing adequate lead time to deliver your marketing needs at the highest standards.

Graphic Identity Style Guide

Kishwaukee College Graphic Identity Style Guide establishes standards for the institution’s identity.

The Kishwaukee College identity is the totality of all visual impressions of the institution. This includes but is not limited to, the institutional seal, color palette, advertising, and the most prominent of which is our official logo.

The visual identity is a large part of what our customers perceive as our brand. Like superior customer service, our visual identity is part of the total customer experience. This is branding.

Kishwaukee College Donation Guidelines

As a public institution, the College must spend taxpayer dollars appropriately. The College may, from time to time, make contributions in support of other non-profit organizations, provided that:

  1. Recipients are non-profit organizations and will use such contributions in a manner that serves the Kishwaukee College district
  2. The contribution directly supports organizations within the College district, such as Educational Partners, Chamber of Commerce’s, and Social Service Agencies
  3. When a donation is to be used for raffle purposes, every effort should be made by the requesting organization to provide the final amount raised by the donation to the Marketing and Public Relations department

College Awards

The American Inhouse Design Awards is the premier showcase for outstanding work by inhouse designers.

It is a unique opportunity for inhouse design, marketing and communications departments within corporations, publishing houses, non-profits, universities and government agencies to be recognized for their creativity, for the special challenges they face, and for their contributions to their businesses and institutions.

Kishwaukee College has won the American Inhouse Design Award 2012 for Annual Report.
