The VAC and LOTS buses will be picking-up and dropping-off riders near the bus waiting area on the north end of the Student Center (Door 61). All bus passes may be purchased in the Business Office – C2140. Refunds for Bus fares are: 100% during the first week of classes; 50% during the second week of classes; and no refunds after the second week of classes.
DeKalb Bus Route (TransVAC)
Kishwaukee College, in cooperation with Voluntary Action Center of DeKalb, provides limited bus transportation between the College and the DeKalb area.
Fall/Spring Semesters Options
Day FA/SP Ticket – Ride anytime between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm ($140.00 per semester)
Evening FA/SP Ticket – Ride anytime between 5:00 pm and 9:50 pm ($70.00 per semester)
Anytime FA/SP Ticket – Unlimited rides on all bus routes to and from Kishwaukee College (BEST VALUE - $160.00 per semester)
Summer Semester Options
Day SU Ticket – Ride anytime between 7:00 am and 2:50 pm ($105.00 summer semester)
Evening SU Ticket – Ride anytime between 5:00 pm and 9:50 pm ($53.00 summer semester)
Anytime SU Ticket – Unlimited rides on all bus routes to and from Kishwaukee College ($110.00 summer semester)
Tickets are sold per semester as full-semester round-trip passes. Bus pass cost will be prorated after the first week of class. For shorter periods one-use tickets may be purchased in the Business Office for $2.00 per ride.
ALL rides will require either a ticket or $2.00 in cash starting the first day of each semester
BEGINNING MAY 19, 2014 KISH PASS HOLDERS WILL BE ABLE TO RIDE THE SYCAMORE BLUE LINE OR THE DEKALB GREEN LINE FOR FREE! SIMPLY SHOW YOUR VALID KISH BUS PASS UPON ENTERING THE BUS.
Rochelle Bus Route (LOTS)
Lee-Ogle Transportation System will provide a route between Rochelle and the College. Arriving twice daily, by 8 am and 9 am and have a departure time of 1 pm, 2:30 pm or 4:10 pm during the fall and spring semesters.

During the summer, LOTS has an arrival at 8 am and a departure time of 1 pm or 4:10 pm. You can view a map with the stops for the summer.
