Institutional Research
Office

The Institutional Research Office reports directly to the Vice President of Student Services and is responsible for the collection of data from internal and external sources. The office provides timely analysis, distribution and presentation of information for use in assessment and planning, and pertinent information for use in decision-making and policy formulation.

Conducting Research at Kishwaukee College

Kishwaukee College has a legal and ethical responsibility to protect the rights and welfare of human subjects used in research efforts conducted at the College or by College faculty, staff or students. The College's Institutional Review Board (IRB) has been established to develop and ensure the implementation of appropriate procedures for the review of research, especially those involving the use of human subjects. To inquire about utilizing human subjects for research at Kishwaukee College, please submit the following: 

  • A Kishwaukee College IRB Proposal Form
  • A copy of the graduate school IRB documents (if applicable)
  • A copy of Human Subjects Training certification

Upon submission of the required documents to the Director of Research and Data Management/IRB Chair, mcrull@kish.edu, your request will be reviewed and responded to within 15 business days.
