Funding Initiative
Your Impact Matters
At Kishwaukee College Foundation, we’re committed to creating opportunities that help students succeed today and in the future. This year, we’re focusing on two key initiatives—the Nursing Textbook Fund and the Greenhouse Renovation—that directly support student learning and career readiness. Your generosity ensures our students have the tools, resources, and experiences they need to thrive.
Textbooks for Tomorrow's Nurses
Textbooks for Kishwaukee College Registered Nursing students are significantly higher than other College programs. In Spring 2025, Kish started its “All-In” Tuition model, which includes all fees and textbook costs in the tuition price. For the 2025-2026 academic year, the Foundation has committed to covering the additional textbook costs for Nursing students to ensure they have the needed resources to complete their education.
Help Nursing Students Succeed- Kish graduates exceed National Council Licensure Exam-Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN) pass rates (91% pass rate in 2024).
- 95% of program graduates are employed as a Registered Nurse within six months of program completion.
- 95% of program graduates report satisfaction with the preparation for nursing practice.
- 95% of employers report satisfaction with the competency of Kish Nursing graduates.
- Accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
Greenhouse Renovation Initiative

Kishwaukee College Foundation is asking for support to upgrade the campus greenhouse
which will enhance hands-one learning experiences for students in horticulture and
agricultural programs. These improvements will allow the college to offer state-of-the-art
resources that align with industry standards and prepare students for successful careers.
Your support will directly impact the quality of education and the future of our community's
workforce.
