If you are dropping a course prior to or within the 100% refund period, this can be done via your Self-Service portal or by emailing onestop@kish.edu from your student email account. If emailing, please indicate the course and section you wish to drop. It is highly recommended you check with the Financial Aid office before dropping to discuss any impact on your financial aid award and out-of-pocket costs. Follow the step-by-step guide to adding and dropping courses via your Self-Service portal.

Once the 100% refund period has passed, you need to contact your academic advisor to drop a course. You can schedule an appointment with your advisor at www.kish.edu/advising.

If you have to drop your classes for medical reasons, you can do so by stopping by the Student Services Office, C2100, and filling out the add/drop form or via the processes described above in myKish. If it is past the refund period and you want to request a refund for your courses, you will have to stop by Student Services, C2100, to pick up the Tuition Appeal form.

You may have been dropped from a class because of non-payment, non-attendance or you have not met the prerequisites for the course(s).

For specific information and dates, please review the Important Academic Dates and Deadlines.

Registration for a class will depend on a few things. Those things could include restrictive standing, financial aid, placement testing, prerequisites, conduct or money owed to the institution. Please call us at 815-825-9375 and we would be happy to assist you.
