Testing Services
Testing Services provides secure and professional testing for Kish students and community residents while adhering to all standards set forth by the National College Testing Associations Professional Standards and Guidelines.
Important Information
- ID Required: Bring a physical photo ID with your first and last name. No pictures of IDs will be accepted.
- Make-Up Testing: Arrange with your instructor to submit the test and proctoring form to Testing Services before scheduling your appointment.
- Placement Testing: Contact Student Services to schedule appointments for placement testing at 815-825-9375.
- Appointment Only: Make-up exams must be scheduled within 24 hours of your desired date and time.
- Storage for Belongings: Store personal items (like phones, hats, laptops, bags, watches, etc.) in the provided lockers. Books and notes are only allowed if approved by your instructor.
- Prohibited Items: No internet-accessible devices (phones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, etc.) are allowed.
- Supplies Provided: Testing Services offers scratch paper, pencils, noise-canceling headphones, tissues and a limited number of TI30 calculators
- Late-Arrival Policy: Students arriving more than 15 minutes past their scheduled appointment time will be turned away. Please contact our office to inform us if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, as space is limited.

- ACCUPLACER placement test — Students scheduling placement exams or retesting must make an appointment with Student Services by contacting 815-825-9375 or onestop@kish.edu. Kishwaukee College administers Accuplacer both in-person and remotely through Zoom. The Pre-Testing Services Information Sheet will provide important steps before your testing appointment.

Kishwaukee College offers the opportunity to proctor exams for students enrolled at other colleges. To schedule an exam with our Testing Services department, contact the Coordinator of Disability and Testing Services, Delaney Hood, at dhood2@kish.edu or 815-825-9366. Students are advised to provide two weeks' notice for scheduling to allow for the necessary collaboration with our IT department. A proctoring fee of $20 will need to be made to the Business Office on the day of testing.
On-Campus Hours:
8 am-4 pm — Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
8 am-5 pm — Tuesday & Thursday
Remote/Online Services:
9 am-1 pm — Friday
